Social Media: The Effect of Popular Culture

I chose to do my project on Social media: the effect of popular culture. I 'd like to discuss the effect of social media and pop culture and how it is the main way of communication in the modern world. If it weren't for social media we wouldn't be where we are today. Social media has positively and negatively affected the lives of many who heavily depend on it for their day to day lives and so I want to cover this aspect. As well as how far we have come along with social media from where we used to be and where we are now. Technology has had a huge impact on the development of pop culture and how much it as advanced. I also want to focus on how social media and pop culture has changed things for old and new businesses and how they've been affected by it. I would also like to go more into how there are people who have decided to stay away from pop culture and what's considered the norm and how they are going about in their lives. I intend to expand on these topics as well as explore more examples and discuss them.
